Six Legendary weapons are found in the Salvation's Edge raid in Destiny 2: The Final Shape. These weapons have some of the strongest perk combinations we've seen in franchise history. Firefly with Incandescent, a Strand SMG with Firefly, and a 72 RPM Sniper Rifle with Quickdraw and Snapshot Sights are just a few things you can earn from this raid.

From raid mechanics to red border chests, this Salvation's Edge raid guide has you covered.

Best of all, these weapons are all craftable and can drop as Adept variants. If you want to expand your arsenal and claim some powerful loot, then you'll want to keep your eyes peeled for these rolls while clearing the Salvation's Edge raid.

Critical Anomaly

Destiny 2: The Final Shape - The Best Rolls For The Salvation's Edge Raid Weapons (2)

Aggressive Frame Sniper Rifles aren't the best for DPS in most circ*mstances, but Critical Anomaly might be an exception. This is the first 72 RPM sniper to roll with Reconstruction and Bait and Switch, which is a decent option for backup DPS when your Heavy weapon runs dry. With that said, you're likely better off with Supremacy since Rapid-Fire Frames have far higher burst DPS.

Chill Clip

Some players have speculated that Chill Clip is the ideal choice for the first trait, as it can proc Facet of Command on Prismatic to automatically reload the weapon.

This interaction isn't practical since this Fragment now has an 11-second cooldown between activations. Until that changes, Reconstruction is always better for PvE.

Criticaly Anomaly's niche is PvP. It has a monstrous stat package, best-in-class in everything except range. It's also the only Aggressive Frame to roll Quickdraw and Snapshot Sights simultaneously. If you don't like the Brave variant of Succession with Discord, then this might be right up your alley. For PvE, it's a solid pick but not a meta-defining choice; Supremacy is usually better.

Forthcoming Deviance

Destiny 2: The Final Shape - The Best Rolls For The Salvation's Edge Raid Weapons (3)

Forthcoming Deviance is a Glaive with an absolutely stacked perk pool, although it's held back by... being a Glaive. If you aren't a major fan of Glaives at this point, it's unlikely Forthcoming Deviance will change your mind. For the small group of Glaive mains out there, this is currently the only Glaive that can roll Chain Reaction, making this a fun add clear weapon that can double as a riot shield.

Throw on Reconstruction or Demolitionist to address the weapon's slow reload time.

As for PvP, it can roll the tried and true combination of Immovable Object with Unstoppable Force. There's also a case for using Chaos Reshaped to heal yourself with this weapon, but you'll need to remain in combat for a whopping 24 seconds before it will activate. It's arguably the best Glaive we've ever seen in Destiny 2, but it's still a Glaive.

Imminence

Destiny 2: The Final Shape - The Best Rolls For The Salvation's Edge Raid Weapons (5)

Imminence is a 900 RPM Strand SMG with a fantastic perk pool and competitive base stats for its archetype. What makes this weapon truly stand out are its perks. This is the only Strand weapon in the game that can roll with Firefly, and yes, that's not a typo. It can trigger Solar explosions with precision kills despite its Strand damage type. This means you can deal Light and Dark damage simultaneously, making this an S-tier pairing with Prismatic.

In practice, landing consecutive precision kills with an SMG is going to be tough, so our main recommendation is Enlightened Action with Chaos Reshaped. Landing a few hits will max Enlightened Action and drastically lower your reload speed. Chaos Reshaped will then grant a 20% damage bonus while in combat. This perk then activates again after 24 seconds, giving a whopping 35% damage bonus and passive healing.

Crucible players are likely going to stick with Immortal or 600s, but Imminence is still a solid option with the right roll. Slice and Kill Clip is fantastic and greatly shifts gunfights in your favor. Use your class ability before a gunfight starts to proc Slice, beat your opponent's TTK, and now Kill Clip will take care of the next fight. If you care for general consistency, the classic combination of Dynamic Sway Reduction and Target Lock is also present.

Non-Denouement

Destiny 2: The Final Shape - The Best Rolls For The Salvation's Edge Raid Weapons (6)

Non-Denouement is the strongest weapon in this raid's loot pool. It's the only Bow that can get Voltshot, infusing your arrows with Jolt lightning with every kill. Since Jolt can easily kill enemies on its own, this creates a loop of never-ending Jolt arrows, provided you land that kill. Even if you don't, Jolt persists for a few seconds, which makes it a great choice for slaying majors.

What you pair Voltshot with is mostly down to preference. Archer's Tempo is great for the boost to draw time, but don't sleep on Dragonfly or Shoot to Loot. As for PvP, the clear winner is Hip-Fire Grip with Archer's Gambit. This combination can two-tap a Guardian in less than a second. It's a monstrous combination if you can get used to the near-instant draw time.

Nullify

Destiny 2: The Final Shape - The Best Rolls For The Salvation's Edge Raid Weapons (8)

Nullify is part of the new Heavy Burst frame that was introduced in The Final Shape. This Pulse Rifle fires two-round bursts that deal substantial damage in PvE, making it a great workhorse right out the gate. For perks, the real standout is Firefly and Incandescent. Just like Tyranny of Heaven, Firefly kills will trigger Incandescent, allowing you to trigger an Ignition if enough enemies die from the Firefly explosion.

Chaining kills with this gun is trivial, and its Solar base damage makes it the ultimate companion to any Solar build using Ember of Empyrean. For PvE, it's nothing short of S-tier.

Chaos Reshaped

If you don't plan on using Solar builds, you can use Chaos Reshaped in place of Incandescent for a meaty 20% damage bonus, increased to 35% if you remain in combat for a lengthy duration.

As for PvP, there's a good gun buried here somewhere. Nullify's great range and flinch mitigation are perfect for dueling, although it needs some serious help getting its handling and stability in shape. Rapid Hit can fix the stability issue, and handling can be addressed with a perfect Adept roll. You could also drop Rapid Hit for Heal Clip, but we need all the stats we can get.

The final column needs to be Chaos Reshaped, as it's the only damage perk you can trigger from neutral. Simply stay in the fight for 12 seconds, and you'll gain a 20% damage bonus. That alone won't do much, but you can pair this with Radiant and two Solar Surge mods to make Nullify a two-burst kill, substantially reducing its TTK. This isn't practical for a 3v3 match, but for slaying out in 6v6, Nullify is an absolute monster. You just need the right build to draw out its strengths.

Summum Bonum

Destiny 2: The Final Shape - The Best Rolls For The Salvation's Edge Raid Weapons (9)

Summum Bonum is the first Wave Sword Frame in Destiny 2, and it works exactly as you'd expect. A heavy attack will launch a wave of violent energy forward, launching you in the air. You can then perform a follow-up attack to lunge at the nearest enemy. The wave itself hits about as hard as a Wave-Frame GL, so this weapon is fantastic for slaying adds.

To make that even easier, you can run Tireless Blade and Whirlwind Blade to greatly improve your ammo efficiency and overall damage. If you have Ergo Sum with Wolfpack Rounds, then this can double as a potent DPS option in Sword-friendly encounters. As for PvP, it's a mediocre pick. It doesn't have Eager Edge, but you can run Unrelenting with Chain Reaction for free healing and easy multikills.
